かなり以前から輸入盤で入手可能だった作品なのに、それをそのまま発売してしまうＥＭＩ。ため息も出てしまうが、オリジナルアルバムのリマスター国内盤も発売されない状況では、やっとリミックスとＢ面のコレクションが発売されただけでも感謝しなければならないのかもしれない（皮肉をこめて）。曲目についてですが、8と9はインストではないし、11と12はもちろんダンスバージョンではなくオリジナルです。おススメは2。当時来日記念限定盤として発売された12インチシングルに収録されたもの。アルバムcolour by numbersから、アメリカと日本での2ndシングルmiss me blindとイギリスでの2ndシングルit'a miracleをメドレーにした「省エネ12インチバージョン」ともいえる面白い作品。timeのインストゥルメンタルバージョンでは美しいストリングスアレンジを堪能できる。ここに収録された曲のほかにも、i'm afraid of me　long version、the medal song extended mix、the war song shriek mix・french versionなど、ほったらかしの12インチバージョンはたくさんありますが、中高生の頃、culture clubを応援していたファンの熱い気持ちが還元される日はやってくるのでしょうか？

なぜか突然出たマキシコレクションアルバム。80年代一世を風靡したカルチャークラブだが、再結成後アルバム1枚出たきりでとんと音沙汰なく、この手の企画モノで紛らすしかないのは寂しい限りである。しかし、もともとクラブDJ時代にその才能を認められ世に出たボーイ・ジョージなだけに、こういうリミックスヴァージョンでも結構いける。１曲が長めになるエクステンデッドヴァージョンでもたるみが感じられない。アルバム未収録曲にインストでタイムまで入っていてこのお手ごろ価格である。カラオケの練習にもなるではないか！！。マニアなファンなら絶対に買いである。
