１回こっきりの人生。貴重な時間です。これを聞けば、貴重な時間を有効に使えます。技あり、この１枚！しかも、未発表ライブの音源。曲もイイですが、演奏の合間の「ウヒャヒャーハ！」というテイラーの笑い声を聴いて、人生は楽しむためにあると思いました。

ブルース好きなら文句なしに楽しませていただけるすばらしい音源。強烈なブギーブルース全快です。正式なライブ盤は「BEWARE OF THE DOG」だけだったので今回の音源は非常に嬉しい。このアルバムは各地で行われたライブ音源とスタジオ作品の構成となっている。通常、ライブとスタジオ収録曲がごちゃごちゃに組み込まれてしまったら、せっかくの臨場感やテンションといったものが、陰をひそめちゃうのだが本作に限ってはそんな印象は全くない。まぁＨＤＴがスタジオであろうとライブであろうと演奏スタイルやノリが変わらない素晴らしいミュージシャンであることの証明でもあるかもしれない。いつでも強烈なブギーを放つすごい人だ。バリバリに歪ませた激しいＨＤＴのスライドギター、フィリップスのぶっといバッキングギター（曲によってはソロ担当リードギター）、回転の速いテッドのドラム、このたった３つの楽器だけでこれだけ重厚なブギーブルース音を出すんだから絶句。ベースレスのギター２本で恐ろしい程のヘヴィー音を出している。スタジオ録音曲「WALKING THE CEILIING」ではテッド・ハーヴィの長いソロが聴けるのもファンとしては聞き所。また日本盤のみボーナストラックがありちょっと高くなるけど、この曲も最高に良いので、どうせなら日本盤を手に入れることをお奨めしたいです。

すごいねこれは。テンション高いです。そそ，8.the dog meets the wolf　タイトルから想像できるとおり，ハウリン・ウルフが関係あります。ウルフのHowlin' For My Babyをやっている。ハウリン・ウルフへのリスペクトだ（とおもう）。親父ギャグだったりして。
