5.0 out of 5 stars 母なる大地のように広くて揺るぎのない愛, 2004/5/20
気持ちをを伝えられないまま、遠くへ行ってしまった恋人を、それでも優しい気持ちで想い続けずにはいられないという、胸打たれるバラードです。

同じ空でつながっているのだからと信じる心とと、祈る事しかできないその気持ちが、今のこの主人公の生きていく意味なのでしょうね。

最初から心にしっくりくる良い曲だなぁと思ったら、自分の大好きな平井堅やケミストリー、ケツメイシの楽曲を手がけているスタッフ陣の方々と知り、なるほどと納得でした。彼女のボーカルの持ち味を、十二分に引き出した仕上がりになってると思います。

ノリノリのダンサンブなル曲に比べると、今ひとつ代表曲といえるバラードがないようで残念に思っていましたが、この曲で、さらなるブレイクが期待できるのでないでしょうか。

このMotherlandはあの大人気アニメ鋼の錬金術師のエンディングテーマとなっています。
錬金術師を見ている人はもちろんのこと、日ごろから疲れを感じている人も癒し効果があると思うので買ってはいかがでしょう？
損したと思う事は決してないです。

初のバラードシングルですよね。彼女の歌、声、人柄、大好きです。海外からのファンも多いと聞きましたが、若手本格実力派としてこれからもガンバって欲しいと思います。きっとその年齢年齢で素敵な歌を披露していってくれる息の長いアーティストになると思います。アニメのタイアップですがアニメファンの人にもぜひ彼女のバラードにシットリと浸ってもらいたいです。
