外大を中退し世界を放浪した元祖ヒッピーのセカンドアルバム。「ファーストアルバム」というタイトルだが、この前に、「回帰線」というアルバムを出している。これは、田舎の一軒家を借り切って、はちみつぱいやリリーが参加して、当時最高のミキサーだった吉野金治により録音された傑作。ミュージシャンが合宿してすこしずつ作っていった作品。個人的には、回帰線の方が思い入れがあるが、完成度はこちらの方が高い。日本に帰ってきたヒッピーの不思議な世界観は、物まねと国内市場受けをねらう、最近のjpopとは全く異なった味わいがあります。
