福岡風太プロデュースにより71年から始まった天王寺野外音楽堂での名物コンサートのライヴ盤。74年は1万人を越える観衆を集め、高田渡、いとうたかお、ザ・ディランIIなどお馴染みのメンバーが出演。またぱふ時代の面影を残す吉田美奈子の貴重な音源も収録。

　このシリーズのすばらしさは『春一番ライブ'72』で記してますが、この1974年版では、CD復刻に当たって、中山ラビ｢夢のドライブ｣、遠藤賢司｢踊ろよベイビー｣、朝野由彦｢夕暮れに｣が収録されず、朝野由彦｢うたを歌って｣が追加。いろいろな事情があって、やむをえないのでしょうが少し残念です。

たったの１曲しか収録されておりませんが、
あの伝説のヴォーカリスト、元ブルース・クリエイションの布谷文夫の
ライヴ版「夏バテ」が聴ける（！）というだけで即買いアイテムだと思います。

廃盤になってしまう前に是非！購入しておきましょう（笑）。
本当、オススメの２枚組ライヴ盤です。

探していた音源『春一番』、やっと手に入れることが出来ました。いつ聞いてもホッとする高田渡の『生活の柄』。久しぶりに聞いたこの人、中川五郎の『Come To My　Bedside』。ディランIIは荒削りですがライヴの良い面を味わえます。大塚まさじも『今日は本当に楽しかったし、またこういうことがあればイイ。』と喋っています。ラストの『男らしいってわかるかい』では一緒に歌い出す観客の歌声が入ってイイ感じです。あの時天王寺野音で一体となった人達、光景を思い起こすことでしょう。値打ちはあると思います。
