　ベストを超えたオリジナルアルバムです。
　田島さんが「SUNNY SIDE OF ORIGINAL LOVE」を構想したとき、頭のなかには「月面軟着陸」があったはずです。
　ムッシュかまやつさんの「Jem'appelle MONSIEUR」は「月面軟着陸」の21世紀バージョンではないかと。
　これほどまでにカラフルでポップなアルバムを作れるミュージシャンはもう出てこないのではないかという気にまでなってしまいます。
　ただ惜しむらくは「これは恋ではない」が入っていないこと。奥田民夫さんと田島貴男さんのローなラップが好印象のトラックだったのですけれど、95年の再発版といい、04年のこの盤といい、削られているのです。契約上の問題か、それとも製作者の意図かはっきりと知りませんが、どちらにしろリスナーとしてはちょっとさびしいところ。
　それでもキッチュな歌詞と戸川京子さんの舌足らずな発音がキュートな「ちょっと出ようよ」や「カップルズ」のときよりずっと洗練された華やかなスキャットがすてきな「パーティー・ジョーク」など佳曲がそろっています。ご一聴あれ。

~今回の再発盤で残念なのはオリジナルにはあった「これは恋ではない」が作者の意図によって編集カットされている点。これが入った月面とない月面はやっぱり違うんじゃないかなって思います。リマスターで音は良くなってますけど、どこか跳ねすぎてるような感じも否めず。ただ今の時代にはこの音なんでしょうね。ともあれ名盤。

このアルバムを超える作品は少ないように思います。~

再発を知り即購入と意気込んでいましたが、こちらのレビューで「これは恋ではない」が入っていないことを知りました。
有り得ない、有り得ません、あれを削るなんて！！！
小西氏に掴みかかりたい気持ちでイッパイです。密やかな場で（失礼）、あの素晴らしいボーカリスト２人がやっているのがまた素晴らしかったのに・・・。
皆様の合間の喋りも削られているのでしょうか。購入、もちっと待とうと思いました。

関係ないですが、インストのカップルズ、結婚式の退場で流したいとずっと思っていました。縁起悪いですけど。
でも、生憎全く流す機会に恵まれませんよ。
