ピチカートのファンはリマスター盤も聴いていると思いますが、このＣＤは独自にリマスター＆リミックスされているので聴き所満載です（音質が最高）。また選曲が小西さん自身が行っており、年代も1986-1990と初期のピチカート（佐々木麻美子〜田島貴男）なので、その時代が好きな人にはたまらないでしょう。しかもディスク２にはファン待望のライブ音源も沢山入ってます！解説も小西さん、高浪さん、田島さんのコメントもあって大マストな内容です！！

これはピチカート・ファイヴのCBS・ソニー時代のベストアルバム。僕は小さい頃にこのバンドを知ったので、あまりこの時の曲を聴いたことがありませんでした。田島貴男さんも在籍していたことを初めて知った時は、すごく意外に思いました。それに、インターネットでソニー時代の作品を初めて試聴した時は、田島貴男さんの歌声がスピッツの草野マサムネ君に似ていると思い、また、「これは草野マサムネ君じゃないの？」と耳を疑ってしまいました。この頃のピチカート・ファイヴは、すごく初々しく、よく知られている頃のサウンドだったハウスやボサノバ、グループサウンズではなく、純粋なポップスバンドサウンドだったんですね。ピチカート初心者の人は、コロムビア時代のアルバムからではなく、このソニー時代のベストから聴き始めるのがオススメかもしれません。DISC2の貴重なライブテイクと、発売当時まではオムニバスアルバムのみ収録だった『KISS KISS BANG! BANG!』、『ラヴァーズ・ロック』のカップリング（かな？）だった『眠そうな二人』のリミックスバージョンもとてもいいですので。
