　ジャケットのセンスが最高。お笑い漫画道場でおなじみ、なんと冨永一郎のイラストなのです！

　アルバムタイトルどおり、ソウルなんだけど、どこか懐かしい日本情緒をかんじさせる詩の世界とサウンド。個人的には4曲目の「君住む街」がおすすめ。詞も春の午後を散歩しているようなイメージで、リズムもレゲエな感じなのでかなりまったりできる。全体的にもそんな感じでひなたぼっこが似合うアルバム。それも縁側で。和風のカフェでBGMにかかってたら最高だなあ。
　青木さんの歌声はジャパニーズソウルの天才といってもいい。とにかくかっこいい。日本のエリカ・バドゥといったところ。絶対他にはいない。エゴラッピンや小島麻由美好きな人はぜったいはまる。知らなきゃ損。
