オールカバーの本作品。原曲もそのアーティストも知っている・・・。

しかし彼女の歌声により既にオリジナル化してしまったかのような錯覚さえ覚える。力強い腹の底からわき上がるような、魂の歌声にシビレました。

タイトルにもなっている「雨を見たかい」は、皆様御承知ＣＣＲの大ヒット曲。私は彼女のバージョンの方が絶対好きです。

今や女性がロックン・ロールを語るのは珍しくない時代。
しかしそのパイオニアである彼女のスピリットに触れずして、ロックを語るなかれ・・・。
