4.0 out of 5 stars 胸に響くハルダンゲルヴァイオリンの音色, 2004/8/30
CDショップのクラシックコーナーで、黄金色のドレスを身にまとった
女性が持つ、螺鈿細工が施されたヴァイオリンのCDジャケットに目が
とまった。通常見慣れているヴァイオリンとは異なる、ノルウェー
の国民的楽器「ハルダンゲルヴァイオリン」だという。

1曲目の「涙そうそう」はあまりに有名な曲なので、中国の二胡

も含めていろいろな楽器で演奏されているが、最初のフレーズ
が聞こえて来た途端にノックアウト！　それはこれまで聴いた
こともない音色だった。

ヴァイオリンは通常4弦だが、ハルダンゲルヴァイオリンは
それに4~5本の下弦を持つ独特の構造で、その共鳴音の哀愁
を帯びた音色が何ともすばらしい。

圧巻は11曲目の「フィヨルドの夏の夜の思い出」。

郷愁を誘うメロディと荘厳華麗な音色に、私は胸がいっぱい
になり涙があふれてきた。

どの国にも民族楽器があるのに、馴染みのない楽器のCDを
買うのは尻込みしてしまう。今回、その一つのハルダンゲル
ヴァイオリンの音色を知ることが出来て、山瀬理桜さんに
感謝したい。

惜しむらくは、なじみのある曲が少なかったことで星４つ。

理桜さん御自身でバック音も打ちこみ、澄みきった音色を編み出しています。エンヤを彷彿させますし、それよりももっと澄みきった空気が迫ってきて、森林浴と湖水巡りとオーロラ鑑賞が可能です。ダイナミックな自然と無縁な暮らしの一服の清涼剤。聴き終えると、スーッと、熟睡してしまいます。ハープのような、チェンバロのような、特別で別の楽器に感じられるこの綺麗なヴァイオリン、すっかりファンになってしまいました。

この前のｎｈｋテレビ出演を見て良かったのでｃｄ買いました。
この中で、一回聴いた瞬間にいいなと思った曲は、涙そうそう　と　アメイジンググレースです。他の曲は一回聴いただけではやや難解でしたが、二回目に曲名や解説を読んで情景を想像して、これは舞曲だなとか、これはオーロラの情景だなとか思いながら聴いたら、良く理解できました。
すばらしいｃｄです。北欧ってこんなに魅力的なんだなと思いました。
山瀬さんは長いスカートですが、手が細長くて美しい人です。
