初めて彼の作品を聞きました。TITLE#1を先に聴き、とてもハマりました!。最後まで飽きないで、何度も聞きたい衝動に駆られたアルバムは久々でした。そしてTITLE#2+3を買ったんですが、最初はあんまり聞かなかったんですが、#3,がとても良い!。#2のノリがイマイチ合わなかった僕は、TITLE#3→1→2の順で好きです。2004年を感じる音楽だなぁ、と思いました。

これが「エジソン電」や「BBE」を作り出した人のアルバムだとはとても思えないくらい、アダルトな雰囲気です。TITLE#2の後半は好き嫌いが出そうですが、ああやっぱり卓球のアルバムだったんだ、とホッと一息させてくれるという感じでしょうか。　
一番のお気に入りはTITLE#2なら「Tokaido」、#3なら「NU」といったところでしょうか。ちなみに「NU」は石野卓球のオフィシャルページのＢＧＭに使われているようです。

「テクノ」に対する嗅覚の鋭さは日本代表レベルだが、ソロでは少し肩に力入ってた感のある石野卓球。
しかしウェストバムとのコラボあたりから力が抜け始め、ドイツやオーストリアあたりのエッセンスを吸収、これが彼のセンスにハマッたのか、「karaokejack」ではそれを見事自己流に開花させてみせた。
今回の立て続けのリリースは、そういった経緯から彼自身に眠っていた「鉱脈」に辿り着いた気がする。次々湧き出るグルーヴを、程良い力感で紡いでいったようだ。もともとそこにあった「音」を取り出したかのような自然で力の抜けたグルーヴは、なかなか日本人では作れない印象がある。オリジナリティを出そうとしてこねくり回し、鈍重なものになるのが常だった。
グルーヴは万国共通、今感じた音を作品として形にすれば良し！なのだ。今回の卓球の「TITLE」は、そこをひとつ越えた作品群だと思う。
ＣＣＣＤなんでホントなら☆一つマイナスするんだが、「日本に卓球ありき」の祝辞として更に上乗せ。
