何の冒険もない毎日を送るおとうさんが、ある日イタリアはベネチアに旅に出る。
かといって大冒険するわけでもなく、毎日たばこを吸い、酒を浴びるように飲んでるだけなんだけれど。
でも、ベネチアに渡ってからは映画の空気というか、時間の流れがゆっくりと進んでいるように感じられるようになります。
フランス語の綺麗な発音とイタリア語のテンポの良い響きが、これまた耳に心地よく響きます。
一見だらしなくみえる映画だけれど「もっと肩の力を抜いて生きていいんだよ」って、言われてるみたいで心にに優しくしみこんでくるような不思議な映画でした。
フランス映画は、どんなシーンでもカメラアングルや画に意味をもたせるように大切に創っているというのがｍ特典映像をみると良くわかります。

お父さん毎日ご苦労様。
そう言わせる作品です。

主人公は日本にも、どこにでもいる毎日働くお父さん。
家にいても、街にいても、会社にいてもその存在が
尊ばれることはなかなかありません。
くすんだ色の服を着て毎日工場へ出かけます。

そんなお父さんがちゃぶ台ひっくり返すわけでもなく
ある日ふらっと家出。

旅先のベニスでは、またまたくすんだおっさん達と
仲良しになります。
ちょっと長い旅の末、こ洒落た格好で帰ってきたお父さんを
迎えた家族は？

登場人物各々の哲学的な台詞、洒落た対応が良いです。

日本にもいるフツーな親父がふらっと旅に出て、旅先で出会ったフツーの親父と交流するだけの話。だけどなんとも爽やかな後味なのだよ。明日もがんばろっと！って乾杯したくなる作品です
