突然の、ALZOの訃報。

それはあまりにも衝撃的過ぎて、受容れがたい悲しい事実･･･。
彼の音楽人としての長いキャリアの中で、ようやく不遇なトンネルを抜け、当然に受けるべく正当な賞賛を浴びようとした矢先、まさに絶頂の時を迎えるはずだったのに･･･。

彼は、本当に素晴らしい音楽を遺してくれた。

彼の歌、サウンド、すべてが心の襞に刻まれている。
ALZOは、たくさんのファンの心の中にいつまでも生き続けるに違いない。

幻のセカンドが、彼の死後に正式に発表されるというタイミングには、なんともいえない気持ちにさせるものがある･･･。

この作品は、ALZOのホームページで試聴できるが、前作の続編とでも言うべき感じで、より洗練された音が聴ける。
その内容が素晴らしい事は、今更言うまでもない。
それよりも、本当に残念な事は、彼の新作を聴きたかった！LIVEも観たかった！

ALZOのご冥福を心から祈りたいと思います。

ミュージックショップで流れていたのを聴いて最初はポールサイモンの未発表音源？と思いました。
やさしく歌いかけるどこか憂いを含んだメロディ。アコースティックで洗練された響き。
カウンターを見ると"ALZO"という聞いたことのない名がありました。
貧乏なので新譜は久しく買っていなかったのですが、どうしても忘れられず次週購入しました。
なんというかめぐり会えて本当に良かったと思える素晴らしい音楽です。

アルゾの1stがあまりにも好きすぎてこの幻の2ndも手に入れたのですが、ちょっと両者だいぶ毛色が違いますね。 1stがある種の初々しさをめいっぱい放射していたのに対し、こちらはまるでそれから訪れる自らの長い不遇の時を先読みしていたかのような諦念感、哀切感がそこかしこに潜んでいるように感じられます。歌詞に、成功して静かにカフェでお茶したいとかあるので更に切ないです。 サウンド的には落ち着いた感じで、ボサノヴァを取り入れたり色々凝った趣があります。それ故に何度も聴いてジワジワと感じるような作品です。
4星というのは1stと比べてです。
