ＣｏｏＲｉｅの新曲はＴＶアニメ「美鳥の日々」の主題歌に採用されています。ＣｏｏＲｉｅとしての活動の他、アニメ＆ゲームのサントラ、声優さんへの楽曲提供を積極的にこなすｒｉｎｏさんとｏｓａｄａさんの２人。作詞、作曲に止まらず東京モーターショーでは、ある日本メーカーのブースで流れた曲のアレンジまで手がけるなど活動範囲は広いです。オリコンでもＣｏｏＲｉｅが参加している曲がランクインしていることは、けして珍しい事ではなく、ジャンルを問わず各方面から高い評価を得ている事の証明でもあります。

今回の曲に限らずシンプルなメロディーと馴染みやすいボーカルが最大の魅力であることは間違いないですが、アレンジの"聞かせかた"も上手くて、２人がどんな曲にしたいと思って作っているのかが良くわかる。曲を一言で表すなら「口ずさみたくなる曲」という言葉が一番正しい表現だと思うし、ＣｏｏＲｉｅに対して最高の言葉だと思います。アニメの曲にも良作と呼べる曲がたくさんあるのに、多くの人に曲を知る機会を与えてもらえない事は本当に残念です。「アニメ」というだけでオンエアーしない、いくつかのラジオ局の姿勢もその１つで、大物アーティストが歌う主題歌が頻繁に流れているのを聞くと「大物なら良いわけですか・・」と落ち込んでます。楽曲と関係ないところで線引きして欲しくないです！

長田氏脱退で今後の行く末を心配してる方もいると思いますが、今回の曲を聴く限りではまったく心配ないと感じました。
CooRieらしさは損なわれていない。流れ星☆の時と変わらず、高密度な音の奔流。メロディー良し。アレンジ良し。まるで隙がありません。

なおカップリング曲は、タイトル曲とは対照的にシンプルそのもののバラード。ピアノと弦楽でのみ構築される世界では、メロディーの良さがより一層引き立っており、味わい深い１曲になっていると思います。

CooRieというアーティストについては他のレビュアーの皆さんが愛のある言葉で紹介なさってるのでここでは割愛します。

この「センチメンタル」という曲は個人的には大名曲だと思う。構造的には今アニソン界を席巻しつつある「疾走するストリングスをフューチャーしたアップテンポの楽曲」だ。代表例は堀江由衣の「笑顔の連鎖」（アニソンじゃないけど）や栗林みなみの「翼はPreasure Line」等があがるだろう。やっぱりどれもメロディは良いのでアレンジ勝負になると思う。「笑顔の連鎖」は堀江のヴォーカルや岡崎律子さんのコーラスをフューチャーするために楽器は極力抑えられている。「翼はPresure Line」は田中公平を想起させる大仰な（失礼・悪口じゃないよ）ストリングスとブレイクの使い方、偉く速いギターソロなどを挟み盛り上げるだけ盛り上げるタイプ楽曲。このCooRieの曲になると柔らかな電子音、オブリにはクリアなトーンのギター等が配されるCooRieのカラー（及びrinoさんの人柄かな？）をよく捉えた良いアレンジだと思う。どれもよく考えられたアレンジで何回もリピートしたくなるのがこういうタイプの楽曲だと思う。個人的にはどれも好きだが俄然CooRieのこの曲が好みだ（爆）

さ、なんでこのCDの発売からしばらく経ってこうしてレビューを書いてるのかというとレビュータイトル通りCooRieのアルバムが( ﾟдﾟ)ﾎｽｨ…。今現在多少の動きはあるようですが、それも正式発表はまだ・・・。希望としては出来れば新録モノがいいけど、でもメロキュアみたいにほぼ全曲ありものに多少の手を加えるだけの作品になったとしても構わない（ってかそうなると殆どベスト盤だよなぁ）！とにかく！どういう形でも良いから早急にCooRie名義で纏まった物が欲しいです（アニメ絵以外のジャケも見たいし）。以上ファンの戯言でした。
