   ゲームミュージックなどで活躍する音楽制作集団「I've」の歌姫として、熱烈なファンの多いKOTOKOが、満を持してメジャーデビュー。サウンド面ではI'veの面々が全面的にバックアップしているが、全曲の作詞と9曲の作曲をKOTOKO自らが手がけている。

   基本的にドライなI'veのサウンド世界に自らを同化させながら、しかし一片のセンチメンタリズムをすべりこませる巧みなヴォーカル、といったこれまでの印象を踏襲しつつ、アルバムとして通して聴くことでよりナチュラルな“女性視点”を強く感じさせるものに仕上がった。これまでの活動の集大成的な作品だけにファンにとっては新味は多くないだろうが、聴きごたえ十分な1枚であることは確かだ。（安川正吾）

I'veSound全開のアルバムではなく、KOTOKOというアーティストのアル
バムです。最近の弾けたI'veを期待していると肩すかしを食らうかもし
れません.....

はっきり言って、自分はI'veが好きです。
そして、I've好きとしてコメントさせていただくと・・・、
このＣＤは物足りない感じします。

悪くはないんですが・・・
いつものI'veからすると、
勢いがないような気がします。

それでも、良い歌には変わりはなく、
これからの更なる進化を楽しむためにこれを買っておくというのは
大正解だと思います。

I'veファン待望、KOTOKOメジャーデビューの1stアルバムだ。
まず、内容の評価だが……。
私は今の所、サンプル盤にて３曲ほど試聴した。
その中で、際立って最も良い雰囲気を出していたのは、何と言ってもアルバムのタイトルにもなっている「羽-hane-」。

これはKOTOKO自身の自主制作アルバム(インディーズ扱い)に収録されていた曲を編曲したものなのだが……本アルバム収録曲の「羽-hane-」は、多分I'veが編曲を担当したのだろう……KOTOKOの歌声を最大限に生かしており、個人的にではあるが、とても素晴らしい出来だと思う。

このアルバムはI'veファンならずとも、KOTOKOの歌声に魅了されること間違いなしだろう。

とにかく、私はこのアルバムの発売日が待ち遠しくて仕方がないのだ。
