ジェイ・グレイドンに敬意を表して★４つですが、レビューと実際の内容が違っていて、★一個損しました。まず1はジェイのソロアルバムと同じバージョン。2、3も同アルバムからで、ほぼそのままです。4はクリフ・マグネスのソロアルバムからほぼそのままの状態でピックアップ。前のアルバムで発表済みの5はアレンジは違いますが、ベースはほぼ同じ。9、11もほとんどイメージは変わりません。その他の曲は基本的に未発表のようですが、やはりアウトテイクの域を出ません。Planet3の作品ですので、かなりのレベルを持った作品であることは確かですが、結構好きなアーティスト、グループなので、ちょっと期待はずれの内容でした。このグループの再結成はとても望めませんが、ライブ音源なんかはないんでしょうか？あればぜひ聞いてみたいですね。

先にリリースされた実に素敵なJazz Album“Bebop”では、４ビートでclear toneとファンをぶったまげさせてくれたJay Graydonですが、今回はVALLEY ARTSのsignatureをline6に突っ込んでAirplay当時の爽やかなharmonized guitarを存分に聴かせてくれます。“Airplay for the Planet”がイマイチ期待外れだっただけにJayの音が13曲も楽しめて大変お買い得なアルバムだと思いますヨ（1曲目はお約束のアノ曲だったりする）。“Bebop”と合わせて買うべし！
