5.0 out of 5 stars 全体を通しての個人的「光と水のダフネ」統括, 2004/7/4
この作品は全部で３つのチャプターに分かれている。主人公であるマイアがネレイスで働き始めるお仕事ドラマ，各キャラに焦点を当てた一話完結式のオムニバスドラマ，マイアの隠された過去を解き明かすミステリー。個人的には2004年上半期で一番の作品と言える程，見ごたえはあるし，キャラクターも生き生きとしている。主題歌も全体の流れにアクセントを与えている。ただ，ＴＶアニメの宿命らしく，各キャラの心情や感情が話によって大きく異なっている点は否めない。あと，真実が明確になる最終話は前編・後編に分けて描いて欲しかった。個人的にお奨めは15・16話で最もシリアス的なストーリーで，脚本は「オーガス02」や「ＷXIII」の高山文彦氏が執筆をしている。全体的な統括を述べてしまったが，躍動感ある作品ではあるので，見てみてはいかがだろうか？

最初にテレビのオンエアで見た時には、かなりの人が「なんじゃこりゃ」とびっくりしたと思われる登場人物のコスチューム（よく考えると、20年くらい前の未来もの漫画に登場する女性はこんな格好が多かった）に、実は私も唖然としたものでした。最初のうちはどういう話かもよく判らなかったんですが、話が進んできた現在はとにかく面白い、と断言できる作品になっています。だから、本巻収録の話数だけだと星３つ（正直言って、ここまで面白いシリーズになるとは予想できなかった）なんですが、シリーズを通して見ている必要がありそうなことと、オマケDVDが結構面白かったので、評価を一つ上げています。

この話は水に囲まれた世界という設定で、その中で、主人公の少女がカイオウチョウというところに入るために友人と試験を受けているシーンから始まります。その後の展開の進み方のテンポも良く、飽きることはないと思います。また内容もわかりやすいので、「なかなかの仕上がりなのでは？」と思うので見てみるのはいかがでしょうか。キャラと声優も合っているし、なにより主人公の百面相とリアクションには笑えます(^.^)ちなみに初回限定には未放映エピソードも含まれているので、買って損はしないかと…
