かつてベストが輸入盤で出ていたが、曲の流れの良さではやはりこのデビュー盤が最高だ。のっけから怒濤のごとく押し寄せるスカの名調子が小気味よい#1｢3分間のヒーロー」、こんな脳天気なプレッシャーなら全然問題にならない#9「トゥ・マッチ・プレッシャー」、テーマの重さを微塵も感じさせない#10「マーダー!!」など波長が合えば、こんなにもハイな気分にさせてくれるアルバムはそうはないだろう。ラスト#14「ジェイムズ・ボンドのテーマ」はそのアイデアに驚くとともに笑いさえこみ上げる快作。スピードとユーモアに満ちあふれたアルバムだ。

白黒混合とはいえほとんどが黒人なために、ウォーとかワゥー的な例のスカの独特の発声がうまい。いやうまいっつうか、とりあえず黒い。
黒いけど、それ以上に、気持ち悪いくらいに濃い２トーン的雰囲気とアートワークとユーモアに満ちています。トゥーマッチ２トーンです。
レジロスとかＸレイスペックスとかもそうなんだけど、オレ的にこういうのにおいての女性ボーカルっのキラキラ感てあんまし苦手で、そっち系が苦手な人はちょっと注意が必要と思います。
とりあえずトゥーマッチプレッシャーは文句なしでカッコいい。大好き。
ほとばしる２トーン的世界観ですね。
