　どこかで見た顔と思いきや，ティーンズ・グループで一世を風靡したイマチュア（ＩＭｘ）のリード・シンガー，Batmanことマーカスではないか。弟分であるＢ２Ｋも軌道に乗っていよいよ自分もソロで一本立ちというところか。Ｒ.ケリーやジャーメイン・デュプリなど大物が脇をしっかり固めているせいもあるのだろうが，なかなか雰囲気のいいアルバムに仕上がっている。ディープなヴォーカルで聴く者を圧倒するようなタイプではなく，どちらかと言えば，ニュー・エディションのラルフ・トレスヴァントと一緒で繊細な声質の持ち主。ティーンズの頃はそれが最大の武器になるが，成熟した大人のヴォーカルとなると逆に弱点になることも少なくない。繊細な声質にはそれに見合うだけの表現力が求められる。本作を聴く限り，その点は十分クリアしている。
　Ｒ．ケリーが参加した「Clubbin'」では，何処となくラテン調で愁いを帯びたギター・サウンドに，ラップと紙一重の流れるようになめらかなヴォーカルが絡む。曲調は違うがＴＱを想起させる。メロウで切ない「That Girl」は，レイドバックした雰囲気のリミックス・バージョンも収録されており，２つの魅力が味わえる。アコースティック・ギターを効果的に取り入れたバラードが多く，「Grass Is Greener」，「Alone」などはマーカスの繊細なヴォーカルにマッチしてとても心地よい。オーソドックスだが包み込むように優しくドリーミーなバラード「Because Of You」もいい。そして「Love's A Game」。美しくも悲しいピアノの旋律に乗って展開されるドラマティックなバラードは，マーカスの繊細で感傷的なヴォーカルもあって感涙ものの出来となっている。ジャケットはストリート一色のイメージだが，内容的には正統派ソウルに近いメロウな内容で，これはお薦め。今後も大いに期待したい。ちなみにホワイトヘッド・ブラザーズのケニー・ホワイトもプロダクションに参加。通には懐かしい話題かも。

R&B好きにはたまらないメロディとMHのきれいな声がたまりません！！特に4のザット.ガールは皆さんどこかで聞いたことがあるんじゃないでしょうか？？有名な一曲です。またMHはユーガットサーブド（ダンスバトル）という映画にも出演しダンスのほうもかなりのものだ☆弟オマリオンのプロデュースもしていてCDも出てる！！この兄弟はかなり熱い！！こっちのほうも要チェック！！
