    まず、詞がいいです。曲のために、語感のいい単語を並べて詞を書いたって感じではなくて、日常の中で感じるような飾らない気持ちを歌に込めてて、共感できるようなものばかりです。各曲の主人公たちの素朴な気持ちに親近感がわきますよ!ヒットチャートの上位を独占してる曲たちは覚えやすくていいけどすぐに飽きるなぁ…そんなあなたにおすすめです!このアルバムを開いてみれば、そこにはバンプにしか作れない独特の世界が広がっています。聴けば聴くほどのめり込んで、あなたの「本当に好きなアルバム」になれると思います!

    　ＢＵＭＰに出会い、そしてこのアルバムに出会い、僕は救われたように思えます。ちょうど、僕が二年間好きだった子にふられたばっかりの時だったので、二曲目の『くだらない唄』は、本当に心にしみました。僕は失恋ところをＢＵＭＰに癒してもらいましたが、生きていくのに疲れてしまったり、これからのことを不安に感じる人は、ぜひ聞いてみてください。もちろん、『くだらない唄』以外も全ておすすめです。ＢＵＭＰは、僕に大切なことを教えてくれました。

    数日前ようやく、ユグドラシル⇒jupiter⇒FLAME VEIN⇒という妙な順番で最後に「THE LIVING DEAD」を聴き、４枚のアルバムを一通り聴くことが出来ました。
    今改めて、比較と言ったら失礼ですが４枚(それに今現在最新作のプラネタリウムも)聴き比べて”BUMPのなんたるか(笑)”をまったりと探してる最中であります。

    BUMPといえば１曲１曲、或いはアルバム１枚１枚がまとまって作り上げる心底響く重みや叫びの主張、絶妙な幻想と現実の調和、そんな点を気に入ってますが、
    そういう奥深さ故か、全てを全て真に受け止めてみると意外にもズッシリとなんとも言えない重み(疲労感のような？)を感じてしまいました。

    そんな状況で自然と耳が求めたのがこのアルバム。

    疾走感や軽快さなら他のアルバムにもあります。
    メッセージ性はむしろ彼らの中でも特に直球でアクの強いアルバムです。
    でも不思議なことに、惹きつけられる。
    このアルバムには負の部分というか、闇をまったく感じない。
    初期の作品というのも相まってなのか、ただただまぶしいイメージ。
    (詩の重みさえもパワーに変えるメロディ、くらいが正しいのかも)

    他３枚が闇のどん底に引きこもっていた気持ちを、同じ目線にてごく自然に引っ張り上げてくれるものとすれば、
    このアルバムは元気を感染させてくれる。立ち直りたくなるんじゃない、自分もその元気の出所へ行きたくなる。

    実際どのアルバムもお気に入りなのですが、FLAME VEINには特にBUMP中でも何か強く異なる色を感じてます。
