　最初は「あれ、渋いな」と思って聴いていた私は間違ってました。このアルバム、凄いです。1から4までは繊細で美しく「ほ~、ルー・リードも丸くなったなあ」と思ってたんですが、5のギター・ソロが完全に狂ってます。6は本当に繊細です、シンプルでデリケートなメロディーに乗ってあの声が美しく感じられます。7のギターソロも狂ってます。あんなにぎこちないギターなのに、フレーズのユニークさという点で私の中でルー・リードは最高のギタリストです。
　あと特筆することは、12のチェロのソロが恐ろしい程の緊張感で、完全にルー・リードのギターソロを食ってます。背筋が寒くなり聴いていると気が狂ってきそうになります。
　Disk 2の1は今まで聞いたライブの中で最高のバージョン、とにかく荒くれてます。3の音の立体感もゾクゾクします。そして5が凄い、作家エドガー・アラン・ポーのルー・リード版の詩の朗読なんですが、言葉の力って本当に良いものです。それに続く6も重厚、お勧めです。
　しかし、非常に非常に残念なことに"Street Hassle"は"Waltzing Matilda"と"Street Hassle"までで終わっていて"Slipaway"は演っていません。一番スリリングばパートなのに、ルー・リード、一体何を考えているのでしょう？　
　ちなみに"Candy Says"はバックボーカルの人が歌っています。でも、本当に素晴らしいですよ。
　最後の"Heroin"は前の曲達が素晴らしすぎ今回はまあまあ、のバージョンです。

　重く激しく美しい。とにかく素晴らしいライブ・アルバムです。
　"Slipaway"が入っていれば完璧だったのに。望みすぎかな？

のっけからsweet janeのギターフレーズが聞こえてくるから、「おー」と思うが、これはジョークのようだ。なんか言ってるんだけど、英語がわからないので辛い。日本盤にはその部分の対訳があるかと思ったけどなかった。
ヴェルベット時代から最新作までのアルバムから選曲されていて、とくに聴きたかったのは、the bedと sunday morning。で、買ってよかった。

しかし、この人は年をとらない、声なんかまったく昔と変わっていない。この声が好きなんだけど。ちょっと気難しい顔をした不良おやじ。ものすごい頑固オヤジ。この人、ずっと本物だったなーと今つくづく思う。初めてルー・リードを聴く人は、そりゃ「ベルリン」か「トランスフォーマー」がいいんだろうけど、そうそう、ロックは退廃的な音楽だった。これを聴きながらそれを思い出した。
３つ折りの紙ジャケットがなかなかいい。ＣＤがビニールに入っていて、まるでアナログ盤をそのまま小さくしたような感じ。非常に完成度の高いライブ作品なので、ルー・リード・ファン必聴です。
