MTV.comのギャラリーを見ていて、偶然見つけたBen Jelen
という名前。気になり調べてみると、公式サイトが出て『Come On』
が流れてきました。結果、ピアノの音色やBenの歌声に、心を動かされま
した。曲のすべてが美しい。それ以来Benのファンになり、と同時に
このアルバム『Give It All Away』の存在を知りました。

まだ『Come On』しか知らなかった私に、このアルバムを良い意味での
衝撃がありました。ロック調の曲なのにやはり美しいという印象を
持つ事があるし、どんな曲調でもBenの声色の美しさは変わりません。
お気に入りなのは『ROCKS』『Give It All Away』などです。

Benの言葉にこのようなものがあります。
「When I feel like that, the song already exists in my mind.」

私が何かを感じる時、歌は既に僕の心に存在するんだ

一言で言えば純粋さが滲み出た素晴らしい1枚です。

基本的に良質なpops曲がそろっており、聴いていて疲れないし、とても癒される。特に６曲目の「Christine」はお洒落な雰囲気でいて切なく必聴！ただ、後半若干だれ気味の曲が並ぶのが少し残念ではある。でも前半６曲目までは文句無く素晴らしい出来なので、是非聴いて貰いたいアルバムだ。

１曲目のCome onをピアノを弾きながら歌う姿に惚れました（笑）見た目通りな爽やかで綺麗な声がとっても心地よいです。
3曲目のShe'll Hear Youの優しい切ない声、4曲目のGive it all awayのピアノで始まるロックっぽい力強い声、、、。これから先、応援していきたい人です！
