ＦＭでヘビロになっているのに、大手ＣＤショップに問い合わせても「？」な感じで、まことにamazingなのですが、とにもかくにも、ひさしぶりのオリジナル曲、ファンにとってはうれしい限りです。８年ほど前に耳にした"Fastlaove"と同じくらいエキサイティングなナンバー。

とあるラジオ番組のリクエストで、若い女の子に、「ファンキーなおじさま」と言われてしまったジョージ、若干４０才、まだだまこれからです。（本厄なので気を付けてネ！）

色トリドリな楽曲が収められているアルバム「Patience」の中からシングル。
ジョージのファン暦はそんなに長くないんですがＴＯＰ５に入るくらいの良曲。リミックスの方もゲイクラブでかかってそうな雰囲気でＧＯＯＤ。ただあと２~３つリミックスが入っていればなと、、、

こんなにもまっすぐなラブソングををジョージが歌うとは思わなかった。ジョージが、まさに神の恩寵としか言いようのないまばゆいばかりの才能を発揮して世に送り出してきたあまたの名曲は、「不滅」とか「金字塔」などの言葉をもってしても表現し尽くせない偉大なものであるが、AMAZINGもそれらに連なる一曲であることは間違いないだろう。おそらくFAITH にも比肩する、ジョージの全ての「FOR THE FEET」系作品の中でも五指には入るであろう傑作と感じられる。それにしても毎度驚かされるのが、アルバムに収められている楽曲群のアレンジの確かさである。シングルを聴いてアルバムのアレンジの妙を再認識するというのは少々反意的だが、悪くはない。そんなことを思いながらも、この曲は既に数百回は聴いている。またしてもジョージへの思いが募りに募る一枚である。
