８０年代アイドルで名実共にトップの地位にいた松田聖子はほぼ全ての曲が代表曲になってしまうのだろうけど、個人的にはこの曲が一番気に入っています。

同時期に活躍した代表的アイドル中森明菜がマイナーキーを多く歌ったのに比して松田聖子はメジャー調の明るくポップな曲が多かったけれど、この曲は珍しく感傷的にさせるマイナーキーの曲でした。それもバラード。似たような曲調のsweet memoryの方が知名度は上でしょうが完成度はこちらもひけを取らないと思います。

バラードですがサビへの盛り上がり方も鳥肌ものです。

彼女にとって「初めての失恋の曲」とテレビで言っていたことを思いだします。
中森明菜ならきっと黒い衣装で歌っていただろうところを彼女は薄いミ
ントグリーンに黄色が入った衣装で歌っていたことを覚えています。
可愛かった。
カップリング曲は隠れた名曲「蒼いフォトグラフ」ちょっと大人になった
そんな気分にさせてくれる。両曲歌えるのがうれしいオマケ。
