８０年代といえば、私の中ではカイリーミノーグとエイスワンダーです。
まだ中学生だった私は彼女たちの可愛さにメロメロでした。
カイリーはいまでもポップの女王だけど、パッツィーはどちらかというと女優のイメージ。
そして今更歌手で復活もないだろうというだけに、このアルバムがウレシイです。
レンタルに行ってももうエイスワンダーのＣＤはありませんし、この安さだし！
どの曲もかわいくて聴きやすい。聴いてると春のようにウキウキします。ＤＶＤもついていればカンペキだったんですが・・・

パッツィの歌声がとっても甘くて可愛いです。ささやくような歌声で、聴いているととっても癒されます。

このアルバムの一番の目玉曲「I'm not scared(モンマルトルの森)」はPET SHOP BOYSのアルバムにも入っていますね。「ペットショップボーイズのニールがボーカルのパッツイのファンということで提供した曲」らしいです。
エイスワンダーのデビュー曲から大変身したこのアルバム。
聞き心地は良いものの、上記の曲を除くとちょっと単調。ハズレの曲はないものの、アルバムとしてはもう少し変化が欲しいところ。
ただ、当時、UKのアーティストはこんなパターンが多いかも。PET SHOP BOYSも通じるものがある。
