   ジョン・ピザレリのテラーク第4作は、アルバム・タイトルそのままのボサノヴァ集。ピザレリの本格的なボサノヴァ体験は、1981年に車の中で聴いたジョアン・ジルベルトの『イマージュの部屋』だったそうだ。本作はそれ以来、彼が心の中にずっと暖めていたボサノヴァ、そしてジョアン・ジルベルトへの思いを形にした夢の実現だという。

   ピザレリはギタリストとして抜群のテクニシャンなので、ギターをフィーチャーしたボサノヴァ作品だって可能だが、本作ではギターは控えめ、あくまでも歌で勝負している。ドン・セベスキーのアレンジも素晴らしい。ブラジルのミュージシャンを多数加えているのは、ジョンの本物指向のあらわれ。ジョビンの曲はもちろん、ジェームス・テイラーやトニーニョ・オルタの曲も取り上げている。ボサノヴァでもやってみるかといったお手軽なものではなく、真剣に取り組んでいる姿勢が素晴らしい。もう1枚、ギター中心のボサノヴァ・アルバムを作ってくれたら、さらにうれしい。（市川正二）

　待ちに待ったジョン・ピザレリのオール・ボッサの一枚！！ピザレリの飾らないスウィートな歌声は哀愁漂うボサノバにぴったり！！
　昼下がりに連ドラ見ながら昼飯よりも、ちょっとお洒落にボサノバかけて陽気なランチなんて時にはもう最高！ゆったりとしたテンションでやさしい昼下がりを演出してくれます。
　しかし、ピザレリはほんとに素晴らしいワールドを展開してくれます。この一枚で是非新たなピザレリファンが増えてくれる事でしょう。
　今回は少しギターを抑え目にしているところが少し残念ですが、ジャズファンもボサノバ好きも、どっちの初心者にも聴きやすい一枚です。

この人ピザ？ピッツアレーリっていうぐらいで？イタリア系アメリカ人なんですけど、なんだか全然このCDはイタリアっぽくないですね。彼はアメリカの東海岸だとFoxwoodっていうカジノの宣伝に出たり、すごいTVの人気者です。この前はフードネットワークの料理の鉄人マリオ・バタリのお料理番組のゲストにも出演していました。とってもシャイな感じのいい人です。このボサノヴァも最高！ノリが違います。でもウチのダンナ様なんかは「なんだか、コマーシャルみたい？」なんて率直なご意見も？

2005年8月ピザレリのライブにいきました。
このＣＤにピザレリが[ All The Best! ]とサインしてくれました！
彼自身も大変お気に入りのＣＤとのことです。
ライブではこのＣＤの中から、
One Note Samba The Girl From Ipanema をうたってくれました。

このＣＤのレイ・ケネディのピアノも粋で、聞くほどに惚れ込むＣＤです！

ジョンの甘いヴォーカルと演奏が非常にマッチしていてまったりとした夜にぴったりの一枚です。暑い夜なんかにかけているとなんかさわやかな気分にさせてくれます。
