MON→TTA→Underneathと順を追って聴くと、彼らの成長がよく分かります。TTAのロックがすごく好きだったので、Underneathを初めて聴いた時は??と思ったのですが、聴けば聴く程良さを感じられるのがこのアルバム。

セカンドに比べるとホント落ち着いた感はありますが、Lost~のようなキャッチーな曲もあり、Dream Girlのようなオールディーズな感じの音楽もあり、UnderneathやBelieveのようなバラードもあり。Ikeが歌うDeeperにはコーラスにMichelle Branch参加してます。

Import盤は限定でDVD付き出ていますが、日本盤のみに収録されているDream Girl、I Almost Careは2曲ともすっごく良いので、日本盤買うことお勧めします。Dream Girlは、2004年に行われたジャパンツアーの名古屋公演で、「日本ファンの為に」とHANSONが歌ってくれた曲です!!

先月のライブでも何曲か聴きましたが彼らはアイドルではなく、本当のミュージシャンだということがよくわかってもらえると思います。個人的には、crazy beautifulがライブで１度聴いて以来頭を離れてくれません。他の曲も含め、星を１００コでも足りないと思います。

この　アルバムを出す前に　オフィシャルサイトの方で
8曲入りの「アンダーニース　acoustic」を出していて、
それらを　アレンジしたものが今回のアルバムになります。
とても　アレンジがうまいので　1番が始まった時なんかは衝撃が
走りました。シングル発売されたpenny & meなんかはとても豪華で
きれいな曲調に仕上がったと思います。
1枚目はpop　2枚目はrock　3枚目は　どこか落ち着きがあって　なぜか
懐かしい感じがする　60年代というか昔の曲の要素が盛り込まれていて
Crazy Beautiful何かはとても　いい雰囲気をかもしだしていていいなと思う。全体的にこのアルバムは　幅広く好まれるんではないかと感じます。
HANSONが育った音楽環境のバックグラウンドが垣間見えるよなそんなアルバム。
ただ　僕は、acousticを先に聴いていて聴き過ぎているせいもあってか
曲によっては　アレンジの仕方で違和感を感じた。
Hey　なんかは、acousticの方が　フルに聴かせていたような気がするのでもったいない。
でも　そうやってacousticで聴かせる能力を持っていたり　アレンジで驚かせる能力を持っていたり　アーティストとしての質を多く持っていると思います。
　インパクトがすごくあって最初だけ聴いて飽きていくアルバムと違い　
”聴けば聴くほど味が出てきて　長く聴いていたい・聴いてもらえる”そんなアルバムだといえます。
機会があれば　acousticも是非聴いてもらいたいです。
”聴かせる魅力”に出会えるはず
