この曲は様々なメディアで「原点回帰」という風に言われています。確かにデビュー当時のコンセプトであった「ヒップホップダンスユニット」を見事に表現してくれた曲だとは思うのですが、どちらかと言ったら「新境地」を拓いてくれた1曲では？と思うのです。アルバムではこういったメロウなナンバー、RAP中心の曲もあるものの、ここまで見事にメロディライン＆RAP＆コーラスが組み込まれているナンバーはありません。彼等の成長と努力が素直に感じられる1曲で、何度聴いても飽きることはなく、むしろ聴けば聴く程深みが出てくることと思います。C/Wにも大注目！

リードナンバーの「Pieces」の歌詞は奥が深いです。
歌詞の意味はやはり人それぞれの捉え方に委ねられるのでしょうが、この歌詞は難しくて１週間ほど悩みました。（笑）
三人が「レコーディングはうまく歌うことができなくて「帰れ」と言われて帰されてしまった」と後で裏話を教えてくれましたが、その通りに難しく、そして考えたくなるほど、いい曲だと思います。
私は歌詞自体がピースの一欠けらのように感じました。
落ち着いたボーカルにも癒されます。
カップリング曲の「move your body」は涼平君ファンなら聴いておいて損はないと思います！
ラップといえば龍一君ですが、この曲はややラップは涼平くんリードな感じです。
恋愛したてのハイなテンションな感じがノリよく好きです。
涼平くん、龍一くんのラップ。そして慶太君の落ち着いたボーカルが絶妙！

今までのｗ-ｉｎｄｓ．とは違うイメージの１曲★人によっては賛否があるようですが、違う一面のｗ-ｉｎｄｓ．を聴くことが出来て私は嬉しいです♪また、個人的なイメージですが『大人っぽい＆甘ったるい＆柔らかい』ですね（*＾＾*）
