私は、潰された握り飯を見た武藏の一言に尽きる映画だと思いました。
ノリは素晴らしいし、センスの良さも抜群だと思います。
何といっても、ホモのモックンが男の中の野生の化身を演じるところにしびれますよね~
役者だな~と思いました！素晴らしい！！

最後の殺陣はNHKのひどさから比べると相当見栄えがよいです。ああいうシーンは一度も無かったな。乱刃をかいくぐって太刀で足元を掻いて泥を浴びせるなんて武蔵っぽくていいです。しかし殺陣師が何人もいて時間もたっぷりあったMUSASHIよりこっちの方が面白いなんて悪い冗談にしか思えないんですけど。本当に大河はしょぼかった。

出演者を見て多分しょうもない内容なんだろうと（演者自体を貶しているのではなく、組み合わせとして考えてと言う事です）
はじめから踏んでいたので、期待していなかった分、逆に楽しめました。
しかし、楽しめたといっても、ストーリーの妙や演出の卓越さはありませんし、
出来の悪いコントのような展開と台詞回しに苦笑を禁じえませんでした。
単に出演者が好みだっただけです。
別に私は歴史家ではないし、
恐らくこの作品の趣旨も本当は武蔵の実像云々とは他にあると思うので（私には趣旨はわかりませんでしたが）
ペダンチックに史実を語るつもりは毛頭ございませんが、
一つだけ言えるのは、ＮＨＫ大河の武蔵役は海老蔵ではなく
本木さんがやっていればよかったのに･･･ということでした。
世の中って上手く行かないもんだなぁ。

ほとんどのシーンが砂浜と船上だけで、映像はかなり間延びしてスカスカです。
終盤のチャンバラはカット割りが細かすぎますが、結構よかったです。
