カミソリボーカル(古いね)のウドと、スティックをギターに持ち替えたステファン・カウフマン(ex-ACCEPT)の運命共同体とも言える９作！目。
男くっせールックスはいいとしても(とても売れるとは思えない)このアルバムでは実に誠実なＨＭ(と言うかこれしか出来ない潔さ)満載の好盤に仕上がっている。何かをふっ切ったのか出色の出来デス。
1から頭首にきますのでご注意をっ！どこを切ってもＡＣＣＥＰＴ！！

ACCEPTのヘヴィ・メタルを受け継ぐ存在として今も活動を続けるウド・ダークシュナイダー(Vo)率いるU.D.O.。
本作は8枚目のスタジオ・アルバムだ。

サウンドが今更変化するはずも無く、ACCEPT臭がプンプン漂ってくるような'80年代風メタルだ。
ただし今回は楽曲の質が格段に高い。
ACCEPT再解散以降のアルバムの中では一番だろう。

そして何よりもこのアルバムの価値を高めたのは、10数年待ち続けた初来日公演がこのアルバムで実現すること。

　ドイツHM/HR界の重鎮、ウド・ダークシュナイダー<Vo>率いる正統派ＨＭバンドU.D.O.の通算９作目。彼らは何も変わらない。勿論、これは悪い意味ではない。ウドの唯一無二のカミソリＶｏ、硬質でソリッドなギター・リフ、勇壮なメロディ、雄々しい地響きコーラス・・・今回もファンが期待する“あの”世界、王道路線まっしぐらの力作だ。

　ウド節が炸裂する“らしい”ファスト・チューン16、ACCEPTを彷彿させる3811（ま、U.D.O.自体ACCEPTの精神を引き継ぐバンドなワケだが）、ヘヴィ・バラード9等々「俺にはこれしか出来ない、俺がやりたいのはこれなんだ！」との気概に満ちた雄々しいサウンドは、見事なまでの迫力と荘厳さを伴い我々に迫り寄ってくる。ロシア民謡風のやや異色な7も、見事にU.D.O.色に染め上げている。

　メロスピ/メロパワ主流の現代のメタル・シーンに於いては、彼らはただ単に“古くさい”だけの存在なのかも知れない。若いファンは「疾走感が足りない」と嘆くかも知れない。しかし、これが、これこそがヘヴィ・メタルなのだ。This is HEAVY METAL!!
