ロシアまでｺﾝｻｰﾄを聞きに行けない場合も多いので、このようなＤＶＤの発売は大変にありがたいです。
思ったこと、感じたことがとても多く、幸せな衝撃でいっぱいです。
とにかく「熱い！」ですね。
初ニューイヤーコンサート　＆　初ＣＤﾗｲﾌﾞ録音　＆　初ＤＶＤ製作で

とても大変だったと思いますが、ｽﾃｰｼﾞで指揮していらっしゃる西本さんは、とても幸せそうで、「この時こそわが人生」というお顔に見えました。
”ミレニウム”が、今のすばらしい状態のまま、西本さんと共に永遠に繁栄し、いつまでも私たちに素敵な音楽を与えてくださることを、切望してやみません。

映像特典１については、ｲﾝﾀﾋﾞｭｰが長くてうれしかったです。
西本さんが、ロシアのオーケストラの方々や観客の方々に、これほどまでに受け入れられ愛されていらっしゃる、ということを今回のDVDで確かめることができ、同世代の日本人として、それをとても誇りに思いました。

西本智実さん指揮の素晴らしい演奏です。選曲もよく、何度聴いても聴き入ってしまいます。
でも、コンサートの映像は、ずいぶんお粗末だと思いました。
固定カメラ数台で撮影したのでしょうが、一定の動きしかない映像にはがっかりでした。西本さんのダイナミックな指揮ぶりを、ファンはもっと見たいのではないでしょうか？

鬼神と言われる西本さんの指揮は、
迫力と繊細さが融合し、まさに芸術そのものです。
今回、初めての映像作品として出たこのDVDでも、
西本さんのその美しく、迫力満点のタクトさばきを観る事が出来ます。
さらに、このDVDには豪華特典として、
西本さんのインタビュー、フォトグラフなどがついています。

なかでも、西本さんご本人が語る指揮者としての西本智実、
オフでの西本さんの姿は西本さんのファンならば、
新たな西本さんを発見できることでしょう。
収められている楽曲も一度は耳にしたことのある曲ばかりなので、
クラシック初心者の方でもすんなりと聞き入る事が出来る作品ではないでしょうか。
