既に先行シングル(2)、このアルバム共に全米1位を獲得済の超強力盤。シングルカットされた(2)は、なんとあのLil' Jonをプロデューサーとして起用。まさに今が旬のLil' Jonをタイムリーなタイミングで使うその感覚も鋭いが、その曲をアルバムからのファーストシングルにもってくるあたりも大胆。南部バウンシー節全開のフロアチューンで彼独特の高音のビートが鳴り響く曲を、メロディアスな歌いまわしで歌いこなすUsherもさすが。そして続く(3)はJust Blazeがプロデュースを務めるメロディアスなミディアムソング。これも本当にいい曲。サビでの展開も申し分ないし、これは何度聞いても飽きのこない名曲。自分自身を曝け出したそのリリックが衝撃的な(5)も何ともいえない情感を醸し出しているし、2ndシングルで早くもTop5ヒットとなっている(6)も、普遍的なスロウでUsherらしさがふんだんに出た仕上がり。もう前半からどっぷりと大人のUsherを感じられること受け合い。そして中盤からは、Usherのボーカルが染み渡る美メロミディアムの数々。単純にいい曲がずらりと揃っている印象。40曲以上録音した中から厳選しただけのことはある。Princeへのオマージュでもある(15)のような異色作も余裕で歌いこなすその様は逞しい。バラード・ミディアム曲の途中途中に入るライトファンクな曲もいいアクセントになっている。その中では(18)が出色の出来か。Rich Harrisonプロデュースによるこれは、低音のファンキーなビートとメロディアスな展開とが絶妙に絡み合った超Coolな仕上がり。ラストの(19)も本当にいい曲だし、これはもうこれでもかといい曲がぎっしり詰まった名作。昔のティーンの頃のUsherはここにはいない。代わりに世界のエンターテイナーとしてのUsherの姿がここにはある。話題必至の名盤。

Usherは前作から聞いていてファンになりましたが、今回も極上のR&Bを提供しています。顔見ると、何か笑ってしまうけど、ダンスとヴォーカルのセンスは確かなものを持っています。今回はHIPHOPの要素を取り入れた曲が全体的に多かった気がするので、両方のリスナーに満足できる物ではないでしょうか。おすすめとしては、2、6、9、19あたりが良いかと思います。とりあえず買って損はないでしょう。

2004年3月発売、アッシャーの4枚目のアルバム。
全部で17曲詰まっている上に、駄曲なし。シングル・カットされNo.1に輝いた2曲目『Yeah!』もいいけど、イチ押しは6曲目の『Burn(Radio MIX)』。声の良さがダントツ。こんなに声が魅力的なのってシェリック以来かも（●＾o＾●）。
今は充分に視聴した上で買えるし、いい時代だなぁって思います。
