   同人ゲームとして異例の大ヒットを記録した作品を原作に製作されたTVアニメーション作品。幼い頃、大事故にあいながらも奇跡的に一命を取り留めた少年・遠野志貴。それをきっかけにして、彼には人の目には見えない「モノの壊れやすい線」（＝そこに刃物を通せばどんなモノでも壊すことが出来る線）が見えるようになっていた。事件後、親戚の家に預けられ、線を見えなくする眼鏡をかけることで日常生活を営んできた志貴は、高校生になり、父の死を契機に実家へと戻る。だがその町では連続殺人事件が発生しており、彼はその背後にある吸血鬼の戦いへと巻き込まれていく。日常世界での生活と、非日常の戦いの世界、そして互いの世界で志貴を取り巻く複数の少女たちの狭間で思い悩む少年を描く、青春ホラードラマが展開する。（田中 元）

この作品を作った監督は、製作に入る直前に原作をなめる程度プレイしたようで、やっぱりその程度の出来です。
志貴は自分が嫌いな根暗になっている。
アルクェイドは人間など一瞬で殺すことが出来るのに、ただの人間である志貴から逃げようとして、あっけなく殺されている。
シエルはその魅力の一端を担っている「カレーがすき」という設定を切られている。

秋葉はただのいやな妹になりさがり、その能力もかなり弱められている。
翡翠は主人思いのメイドから陰険なチクリ魔に変貌している。
琥珀はストーリー上重要な意味を持つ「常に笑顔」という設定を切られている。

各種の設定にもまったくといっていいほど説明がない。秋葉の能力の名前すらわからないのではないでしょうか。

原作の設定を中途半端になぞっている。同じ吸血鬼に血を吸われたのに、死者になる者と死徒になる者がいるのはなぜか答えられるでしょうか。

ＧＰＭでは「ゲームで気にいらないやつを殺してやった」と言った監督ですが、今作ではなんとかそれだけは避けられました。
遠野家前当主の名は間違ってますが。

私は月姫に関するゲームなどはプレイしたことは無いです。この『真月譚月姫』は月姫ではないと書かれていますが、一つの作品としてみればとても面白い作品です。この先どうなっていくのか気になります。

5.0 out of 5 stars 印象的な場面が連続する第5巻, 2005/8/6
第9話、画面作りと、それによる心情描写がもっともしっかりしていた回。遠野家と、そこに住む面々を映す不穏な構図と演出、そしてすべてを悟った志貴が見せる表情と、アルクに気持ちが接近していることを示すラストの台詞が印象的。そして第10話、全体的にアルクを丁寧に見せてるが、特に夕焼けの教室シーンは、カメラ構図、アルクの細かいしぐさなどが心情描写としてよく出来ていた。

この5巻を見て、つくづく、この作品のカラーと雰囲気はアニメ版の遠野志貴というキャラクターとマッチしていると思った。
やっぱりこのアニメ版志貴も個人的にかなり好き。
