高田馬場駅の山手線の内・外回りの 「鉄腕アトム」 をはじめ、新宿駅の中央線・山手線・埼京線など、JR東日本の駅ホームで使用されている発車メロディーのオリジナル音源をCD化。新宿駅全14のホームで使用されている音源をメドレーにした 「新宿STATION」、ハープの音色（ハープ演奏：内田奈織）をフィーチャーしたオーケストラバージョン 「組曲 新宿STATION」も収録。

音質がかなりいいですね。また新宿STATIONなどの新宿駅の発車メロディーを集めて作った曲もありかなりよかったです。しかしこのCDに収録されているメロディーはテイチク製なのでGKやせせらぎ、清流等は入っていませんのでそこのところはご注意ください。

う~ん、、駅ごとの選曲じゃなくて、メロディーごとの選曲にして欲しかったなぁ、同じメロディーが何曲も重複して収録してあるのは、いかがなものかと。他にも未収録なメロディー（そっちの方が東京近郊ではメジャーだし、良いメロディーが多い！！！）がいっぱいあるし。折角発売するんなら、全製作会社のメロディーを入れて欲しかったです。版権やらなんやらあるんだろけど。ちょっと中途半端。組曲新宿駅は良かったです。第２弾発売を期待します。

ついに発売ですね！！感無量です。
別に、列車マニアではないのですが、
通学でJRに乗るようになってから、各駅発車メロディーの違いが
気になり始め、音階をメモって収集しピアノで再現してみたり、
携帯のオリジナル着信音を作ったりしてた頃を思い出して
非常に懐かしくなりました。

皆やっぱり気になってたんですね。嬉しいです。

個人的には、何だか不思議な気分になる原宿の和音メロディーが
気になりますが、収録されていないのかしら。
このCDで行ったことのない駅のメロディーも聴けるのが
とっても楽しみです。

これが売れたら、本当に全曲収録のCDを出してくれないかなー。
完
あと、同じメロディーを使ってる駅がいくつもあるので、

路線図＋メロディー分布図？というか
どの駅で何が使われているかという一覧も欲しいですね。
