疾走感に溢れてる中で、どこか今のglayを象徴するかのような落ち着いた雰囲気が出ています☆自分が一番初めに本格的に好きになったバンドはglayでした。なんでしょうか、どこから切り出していけばわからないのですが、やはりglayという存在はいつも僕の中の原点にあります。今思えばこのアルバムは新しいglayを表すというよりは、今までの軌跡を違った形で表したと言ったほうがいいのかもしれません。その中でもstreet lifeは本当にメンバーそれぞれの思いがにじみ出ていますし、自分に照らすと今までを振り返させられる曲だと思います。まあ、なんだかんだ言ってもこのアルバムのノリは最高です☆テンション低いときや落ち込んでるときに聴くと、やる気！！がでてくるような曲ばかりです☆

最近のＧＬＡＹはなんだかパッとしないななんて思いながらもこのＣＤを買いましたが聞いてみてそれは杞憂だったと思い知らされました！
疾走感のあるRunaway Runaway・BEATIFUL DREAMERや目を閉じれば青空が広がる様な南東風等のノリの良い曲に
STREET LIFEと時の雫がアクセントとなって過去最高のアルバムになってると思います。
このアルバムを最初に聞いたときは体を電気が通り抜ける様な感覚に陥りました！最高です！！

１曲１曲のレベルは個人的にはシングルレベル。これ以上のロックアルバムをGLAYは作れるのか？というぐらいGLAYとしてはロックしてるアルバムです。ただ最近のＧ４やＡＮＳＷＥＲではこのTHE FRUSTRATEDより振り切れたロックを聴かせてくれるようになり、底なしの進化を感じて次のアルバムが凄く楽しみになりました。このアルバムはノンフィクション性が低いロックなアルバムだったので多くの支持を得づらかったのだろうな・・・と思いましたが、これもＧＬＡＹの挑戦だと今では考えています。１０年以上活躍し続けているバンドが更に挑戦し、進化し続けている姿は感動的ですらあります。THE FRUSTRATEDは１０年経っても挑戦を続けるＧＬＡＹというバンドの貫禄が感じられるアルバムです。サウンドで聴かせるアプローチは未だに表現しきれてないことが多いというＧＬＡＹのTHE FRUSTRATED（まだまだやりたりないぜ！）を感じます。マンネリどころの話ではありません。進化し続けるモンスターバンドＧＬＡＹの軌跡の一つとして是非手にとって聴いてみて下さい。非常にお勧めです。
