   1983年にアーケードタイトルとしてナムコから発売されたのがはじまりで、作りこんだバックグラウンドやストーリー、すべての敵キャラにつけられた名前、隠れキャラの存在など、あらゆる点でエポックメイキング的な存在になった作品。シューティングの名作として知られる縦スクロール型のゲームで、ファミリーコンピュータが誕生した当時のファミコンタイトルをGAMEBOY ADVANCE用ソフトとして発売する、「ファミコンミニ」シリーズのナンバリング7となる。

   ステージは全部で16用意されており、空中の敵は「ザッパー」とよばれる武器で、地上の敵はブラスターと呼ばれる武器でそれぞれ倒していきながら、その攻略に挑んでいく。この、地上と空中の敵を完全に分けたのも当時では画期的で、特にブラスターはスクロールによって着弾位置が変わってくるというほど凝った作りが特徴となっている。

   そのほか、アンドアジェネシスと呼ばれる巨大キャラの出現や、ソル、スペシャルフラッグといった隠しキャラの存在など多くの特徴が盛り込まれ、以後の作品に大きな影響を与える1作となった。（田村 雅）

プレイ後直ぐに流れてくるＢＧＭを聞いたら、もうたまらなく懐かしくなりました。。
昔はアーケードでずっと流れてたからねぇ~
携帯ゲームとして蘇った事に感謝。

20年前、任天堂のみならず多々のメーカーからゲーム機が発売され、
わたくしは「ファミコン」と「カセットビジョン」で非常に悩んだ記憶
があります。
確か、ゼビウスが発売されるのを知ってファミコンに決めたような気が
します。

ＧＢＡだとゲームがすぐ立ち上がるので、チョッとした時間つぶしには
最適です。

風呂が沸く待ち時間、トイレを待つ時間、カップラーメンが出来るまで
の時間とほんの数分時間をつぶすつもりが、1時間くらい経ってしまう
ので注意しましょう。

ファミコンミニ全10タイトルの内のナムコの代表的シューティングです。ゼビウスは個性的な音楽と、上空の敵と地上の敵とを考慮しないといけないと弾一発で死んでしまうシビアさ、やりこめばやりこむほど音楽と一緒に面白くなってゆくゲームです。当時からかなりやりこんでいた記憶がありますが、一度も裏技したことが有りません。今回ファミコンミニシリーズに入ったので、再度挑戦してみようと思います。値段も良心的なので懐かしく思ったら、買って損は無いと思います。
