平手、駒落ちの全定跡を取り扱った将棋ソフト。講座は定跡伝道師である所司和晴六段が担当し、研究を完全公開。定跡を理解し、強くなりたい方向け。思考エンジンは、第13回世界コンピュータ将棋選手権(2003年5月開催)で優勝をしたものにさらなる改良を施したものを搭載。平手、駒落ちの全定跡を所司六段が詳しく解説する「定跡講座」、振り飛車、居飛車、駒落ちの定跡328局面から東大将棋と対局する「定跡道場」、定跡とされている次の一手が出題され、習得に最適な「定跡次の一手」、対局結果で実力を数値化する「レーティング戦」、レベルを四段~10級まで9段階に設定できる「フリー対局」、指し手の善悪、形勢の推移等を表示する「棋譜解析」、盤面編集と詰みチェック機能を搭載した「編集詰将棋」などを用意。棋譜読み上げ、秒読みは千葉涼子女流三段、安食総子女流初段が担当。

これが発売するということを知って、正直言うと、悔しくてなりません。矢倉、四間、居飛車、振り飛車、などの道場シリーズの集大成ということですが、それの一個でも買ったことがある人なら、金銭的なことで、かなり苦い感じではないでしょうか？自分は居飛車党で、場合によっては四間飛車を指しますから、本作では一部の機能しか使わないと思います。本作を売ること自体には反対しませんが、それ以上に、各道場を今まで以上に安く売った方が良心的だと思いますし、すでに各道場を買ってしまっているユーザーには何らかの特典をあげた方がいいと思います。（というか下さい！）初期ユーザーが損をするというような商売は儲かるでしょうが、少し引っかかる部分があります。本シリーズを初めて買う人は、実にいい買い物をすることになるだろうと思います。実績からしてお勧めです。

レーティングゲームしかしていませんが、
強いときと弱いときの差がかなり激しいです。
簡単に勝てるときと、すぐに負けるときがあります。
（同じレートで）

それと、かなり不満なのが、説明書です。
HTML形式の説明書しかなく、それもおおざっぱな
作りなので、非常に使いにくいです。

なれることができないのでレーティングしか
していないような感じです。

それでも定跡講座は勉強になると思います。
しかし、定跡講座の途中から「対局再開」の
ようなことはできません。ですので、している
ことといえば、媒体が紙か電子かの違いと思います。

使い込めるようであれば、かなり有効利用が
できると思います。強くなりたいと思うのであれば、
非常に推薦します。
