   迫力ある3Dロボットと美しい2Dグラフィックで表現された少女たちが活躍するアドベンチャーゲーム。クトゥルー神話をモチーフにした重厚なシナリオに科学と魔術が進歩した世界を舞台に「恋愛」「ロボット」など様々な要素を融合した作品だ。

 「デモンベイン」とは魔導理論が活かされた悪の破壊ロボットに対抗するために作られた巨大ロボットのことである。それに乗り込むパイロットは三流探偵の「大十字九郎（だいじゅうじくろう）」が本作の主人公。そして謎の少女「アル・アジフ」との出会いによって魔術とロボットの壮絶バトルが繰り広げられる。

   本作のDXパックにはゲームディスクの他に、OVAディスク、特典DVD、ラフ原画集、ドクター・ウェスト＆ジョイまっくす名刺セットが同梱される。（岡田幸司）

　熱血ロボットとクトゥルフ神話の融合・・・。
さらに、変身ヒーローに美少女の要素追加・・・。
まさにごった煮の世界。
もし・・１つでもかすったら買いです。
もちろん、クトゥルフ神話知らなくてもバンバンいけます。
知ってたら・・もっと楽しめます。
個人的には、超おすすめです。
ただし、文章読むの苦手な人は・・おすすめしません。

また、同封のアニメもいい感じです。
ゲーム前と後ではきっと見方変わると思います。

この作品は豪華声優陣の中で未亜さんが出演してると知り、即買い、即プレイでした。
ストーリーは最初ベタな印象を激しく喰らいましたが、話が進むにつれて味が生きてきて、ベタな印象はすっかり忘れてしまいました。
CGが綺麗でキャラの個性、テーマの投げ掛けも素晴らしいものでした。
残念だった点はスキップが遅く二周目がキツイ事と、ストーリーが非常に長く、後半だらだらしてしまう点がありました。
OVAやギャグもとても面白く、この作品は想像以上に楽しめたので是非１度プレイされることをお勧めします。

PS2移植版という事もあって萌え要素には期待していいですが、エロ要素には期待しない方がいいです。
PC版と違うところはCGの大幅追加、戦闘シーン増量、フルボイス化、ソニー規制入りぐらいですが、
大量のCG追加のためだけでも一応は買う価値あると思います。
ちなみに期待されていた追加ルートはありません。

システム面ですが、コレはもう全滅です。今までやってきたギャルゲーの感覚でプレイすると確実に痛い目を見ます。
まず既読スキップ無し。この時点で既に鬱になりますが、
スキップの速度がギブスをはめた亀の様に鈍足。ページ戻し無し。所々に処理落ちandボイス無し。

しかしやはりストーリー、シナリオ、キャラクターの個性はデモンベインだけあって最高レベルです。
ギャルゲーマーでPC版をプレイした方には少々…というかかなりシステム面で辛いものがありますが、
ロボットが好きなだけでも十分楽しめると思います。
