７０年発表の６作目。このアルバム発表後、トムが脱退するのでオリジナル・メンバーでの最後のアルバムと言える。ジョンのオリジナルのみでまとめられた最初で最後の作品でもあり、名曲「雨を見たかい？」を含むこのアルバムはＣ．Ｃ．Ｒ．でも特に重要なアルバムに間違いないと思う。演奏も力強く、そしてずっしりと重い。その重さを軽減するかのように適所にオルガンなどのキーボードが目立っているのも特徴だと思う。ギターとベースが思いっきりドライヴする１．でグイグイと引っ張られたら、後は思いっきり引き込まれるだけ。やや長尺の演奏の６．や１０．はややプログレの影響が感じられるものの違和感はないと思う。Ｃ．Ｃ．Ｒ．(ジョン・フォガティ) は数々のヒット曲を生み出したグループでサザン・ロック系のグループとしても重要だが、パプ・ロック系のミュージシャンにも人気が強く、このアルバムの６．を 「C'mon Feets」 のタイトルでカーレン・カーターが、アルバム「BLUE NUN」でカヴァーしている。

従来よりもよりへヴィーなR&Rの1.Pagan Baby、よりへヴィーなR&Bの6.Born To Move、今まで通りキャッチーな4.Have You Ever Seen The Rain?　7.Hey Tonight　9.Molinaなど楽しめます。サックスの大胆な導入など当たらしことも試みていますが本質は変わっていません。Fogertyの迫力あるボーカルはたまりません。
