   同人ゲームとして異例の大ヒットを記録した作品を原作に製作されたTVアニメーション作品。幼い頃、大事故にあいながらも奇跡的に一命を取り留めた少年・遠野志貴。それをきっかけにして、彼には人の目には見えない「モノの壊れやすい線」（＝そこに刃物を通せばどんなモノでも壊すことが出来る線）が見えるようになっていた。事件後、親戚の家に預けられ、線を見えなくする眼鏡をかけることで日常生活を営んできた志貴は、高校生になり、父の死を契機に実家へと戻る。だがその町では連続殺人事件が発生しており、彼はその背後にある吸血鬼の戦いへと巻き込まれていく。日常世界での生活と、非日常の戦いの世界、そして互いの世界で志貴を取り巻く複数の少女たちの狭間で思い悩む少年を描く、青春ホラードラマが展開する。（田中 元）

第7、8話を見る限り、監督は設定は用意するが、無用な説明を廃し、すべてわずかな台詞と視覚的なもので配置している。説明不足の感もあるが、最近の作品に多い説明過多の感もないし、露骨に見せないことで逆に作品にちょっとしたリアリティがでている。
しかし主人公の周りに自動的に美少女が集まるので、そのあたりで本作が美少女作品であることを思い知らされる。
ちなみに第７話は中の悪いヒロイン４人組とフォローを入れる有彦など、キャラクターの個性をいかしたコメディが妙におもしろい息抜き話。

第七話にＴＶオリジナルストーリーが入っています。それのデキはなかなかのものですが、原作に即した話に戻るとおそろしく不出来です。
「テレビアニメとして見ろ」という意見もありますが、原作付きのアニメは原作と比較されることが宿命なので、きつい評価にならざるを得ません。

原作ファンの間では「アニメ化ではなく二次創作」という見方になっています。星二つなのはオリジナルストーリーを評価してのことです。

いままでシリアス一辺で原作のギャグ要素を全て捨ててきた
そこでギャグ話を入れるか！？
一度、シリアスでやろうと進んでいったのにこれはないのでは？
