生まれや育ちは選べないけれど、ふるさとだったら君と選べる~

出だしのこの一節がこの歌のすべてを物語っています。
一聴すると、やや沖縄びいきにも聞こえるかもしれませんが、
何回も聴けば、この歌は普遍的なラブソングだということが分かります。

付属のDVDは、延々沖縄の素晴らしい景色（多分竹富島）とBEGINが

映っています。こちらも、派手じゃないけど、和めるいい映像です。

　さすがにいい曲を聴かせてくれる!ＢＥＧＩＮのＤＶＤ付シングル。「いつまでも」を聴いたときの印象は「ＢＥＧＩＮらしい良い曲だな」という感じでしかなかったが、続く「ユガフ島」には参った！こんな感動的な曲だとは！歌詞、メロ共にじんときて涙がボロボロ出てしまった名曲。ビデオクリップも素晴らしい沖縄を感じることができて満足！
