とにもかくにも、フィッシュマンズフォロアーと呼ばれてしまう
ことには否定はしません。
でもフィッシュマンズから説教臭さ（？）ある種のアクを抜いた感じ
はあると思います。ちなみに私はフィッシュマンズも大好きですが
自分の心のコンディションによっては受け付けないときもあるのです。
その点bonobosは、走るバスから眺める景色のように、いつまでも感じて
いたい、揺られていたいような気にさせてくれます。
好きです。

最初に視聴したとき、
自然と笑みがこぼれてきた
のを思い出す。

ああ、また日本にまた一つ
素晴らしいリズムバンドが
登場したな、と。

フィッシュマンズの再来！？
いえいえ、
先人たちを凌駕する可能性を秘めた
「bonobos」の登場です。

リズムにかぶさってくるような浮遊感のある声と音が気持ちいい。
がらがらの電車とか、草むらにねっころがってとか、
とにかく晴れてる日に外で聞きたいバンドNo.１。

「フィッシュマンズの再来」と言われてたみたいですね。
確かに初めて見たとき・headphone magicを聴いたときは
そう感じる部分も無きにしも非ずだったけれど、

このアルバムを聴いて、良い意味でそういう評価は吹き飛んだかも。
