Although Switchfoot is in the Christian Rock genre, one never feels too pressured with the religious values inputed in some Christian music in these songs. Overall their songs are just great to listen to anytime, and even though most of the songs are in the rock style their slow songs (like Twenty-four) are bittersweet but heartwarming.

I have recently bought their newest album, "Nothing is Sound," but when asked which I like, I prefer this one better. The new one is more focused on the rock style (although I do like the songs Lonely Nation and the hit song Stars). Either way I recommend "The Beautiful Letdown" to anyone who enjoys picking up random CDs to listen to, because you will never regret buying this!!!

You won't be sorry if you buy the new CD as a set for yourself, either!
