まずは革装丁のような外側の豪華さに驚かされました。
が、中を開けてみるとCD本体は紙封筒の中。ディスク表面を触らないと取り出せないのです。これはちょっとマイナス。
普通CDがあるであろう台座にはおまけのDVDが収まってました。
DVDの内容がとても良かったです。
私は photo gallaery がお気に入り。

ピックアップされた写真と詩の絶妙の配置がまるで美術書を見ているようです。

（でもDVDって何故プレイヤーによって相性があるのでしょうね。私の再生環境では音が飛びますι）

久し振りに取り出して中を開けましたら、おまけのシールが湿気で完全に張り付いてしまって

剥がせない状況に陥ってしまいました。水をつけて少しずつ剥がしましたが
ぼろぼろに．．．涙。保管に注意が必要なようです。

まず、このCDを手にとって、カバーの豪華さに感激しました。普通のCDケースではなくて、高価な本のカバーのよう・・・。開けると、アラゴルン、フロド初め、映画の1シーンなどが写真集のように収まったページが、14枚・・・。CDのほうは、これまで同様、いい音楽ばかりで、早く映画を見たくなりました。DVDは、初め映画の3部作の1部分が、2分弱ぐらいずつ映った後、曲の収録風景などが納められています。輸入盤国内仕様のため、すべて英語での会話で、字幕もありません。英語の苦手な人には、会話を日本語に直した説明書が入っているのですが、それと照らし合わせながら見るのが、少し大変かな。後、メインキャラクター達の切手型ステッカーが、入っていました。

国内版の特典はほとんどありません。これならむしろ輸入盤を勧めます。ハワードのしゃべっている内容が知りたい人にしかお勧めしません。音楽の内容、付録については文句ありません。３部作の最後にして、最高の作品に仕上がっています。
