このレビューを書いている時点で、
２作目が発売されていますが、そうして２作目が発売されるほど、
このプロジェクトは成功していると思います。

私は音楽に関して、知識が全然ないですが、
近年のヨーロピアン・ジャズブームに乗っかり、
北欧系ジャズやこのイタリア産のスケーマレーベルなどを、
手当たり次第に聴いている次第です。

このアルバムでは、Schemaレーベルの代表格である
NICOLA CONTE、GERARDO FRISINA、
そして'05夏にやっとデビューアルバムを出した、
THE FIVE CORNERS QUINTET などが参加していて、
クレジットだけでもまあ間違いないだろうと
手に取ったのですが、結果的に、
買っておいて損はないと思える仕上がりだと思います。

後発の個々のオリジナルアルバムと
かぶる曲も確かにあるのですが、
それらの楽曲も突出することもなく、スムーズに、
全体としてまとまっており、
独特のグルーブ感のあるアルバムに
仕上がっていると思います。

雰囲気は、ジャケットが表現するとおり、
クールであるけども、かつ情熱的な曲調。

上記の誰かのファンならば、是非聴いてみて下さい。
