Mac OSで発生するディレクトリの損傷の防止と駆除を目的としたトラブル解消ツール。シングルボタンクリックで、損傷したディレクトリーを検査し、救出可能なファイル及びフォルダー・データを全て見つけ、そのデータを利用して新しいエラーの無い最適化されたディレクトリーを構築する。ディレクトリーの損傷により失われたファイルやフォルダを復活させ、マウントされなくなったディスクをマウントさせることが可能。MacOS 7.1~9.xから起動可能な「ディスクウォーリア 2.1」も合わせて収録。

HDDがデスクトップ上に表示されなくなり、某有名ユーティリティーソフトにて復旧を試みましたが、大量にデータ消失する様だったので、藁にもすがる思いで、このソフトを購入しました。
おかげ様で無事に復旧する事が出来ました。
メニューもシンプルでとても使い易かったです。

僕は2.1からのユーザです。
バージョン2.1では、SCSI接続のディスクアレイ(RAID-5)に起こったかなり致命的なトラブルが解決でき、Macintoshユーザ必携のディスク修復ソフトだと、今も思っています。

今回のトラブルは、アクセス中のドライブ（FireWire接続のHDD）から、うっかり電源を抜いてしまいそれ以後マウントできなくなる不具合があり、もちろん2.1でも試したのですが上手くいかず、この3.0を購入しました。

あるショップのサイトに、FireWire HDの同様のトラブルがDiskWarrior3.0で解決した、という記事が掲載されており、藁にもすがる思いでチャレンジしましたが・・・、結果は×・・・
結局、メーカーへ修理に出し、中のデータは消失してしまいました・・・（相当へこみました）

FireWire や USB 接続のストレージの場合、まだDiskWarriorが認識できる「低レベルなトラブル」では有効なようですが、僕の場合は損傷が激しすぎたのでしょうか、ダメでした。これがSCSIやATAなら、かなりハードなダメージでも対応できるみたいです。

ですが、Macintosh のインタフェイスは、FireWire や USBが主流になっているのですから、ぜひ、この分野のトラブルが解決できるよう進化したもらいたいと思います。

インターフェイスは驚くほどシンプルですが、
他のツールでやってもマウントしなくなった(復旧しなかった)ディスクをダメもとでかけてみたら、何と復活！
これにはかなり感動(　;∀;)
一度試してみる価値はありますね。
