~Photoshopといえば、私のような古い人間にとっては憧れのソフトだった。当時はデジカメも一般的でなかったのでデザイン会社などでプロが使っていたのがこのソフトだ。Photoshopと並び、デザイナー御用達の本家といえばillustratorだろう。このソフトも当時は10万円を超えるソフトでおいそれと手が出るものではなかった。しかし、パソコンが一般化し、デジカメも一般家庭~~に普及してきた。webパブリッシングがお茶の間に入り込み、誰もがwebページを持つ時代がきた。そんな時に、web構築ソフトであるGoliveと電子文章のデファクトであるAcrobat、さらに打倒クオークを目指して作られたInDesignをセットにしたスイートパッケージがとうとう出てきた。ここのソフトの生い立ちをしっている人間にとってみれば、20万円という値段はバーゲンにしか~~みえない。それぐらいの迫力があるスイートパッケージである。ただし、ここのソフトはあくまでもプロ向けであり、本スイートはその集合体だ。私のようにブランドに弱い人間ならいざ知らず、このソフトでなければ絶対にできないというものは、ことお茶の間デザイナーにはないと思う。ただし、マック用のソフトは大体が少ないため、唯一の選択になる可能性もあ~~る。~
