良くも悪くも、ファミコンの物と同じ内容のFF1。イベントも、町の人のセリフも、ダンジョンの構造もほぼ一緒。鮮やかに描き直された世界で冒険できるのは嬉しい。

ファミコン版との大きな違いは、店屋に入った時に、中を歩き回れるようになった事、教会の音楽と復活シーンが新たに追加された事、コンフィングが追加された事、アイテムに関する細かい点が変更された事ぐらい。他にもダッシュができるようになった、バトル中狙った敵が倒れた場合、自動的に他の敵を攻撃してくれるオートターゲットシステムが追加された等が挙げられるけれど、こちらは好みで元のファミコン仕様に変更可能。
ゲーム内容は、今プレイしても十分に面白い。ただ、今の親切なゲームに慣れている人には、なかなかレベルが上がらない為、経験値稼ぎが辛く感じるかも。1レベル上がるだけでも、かなり強くなるので、レベルが上がった時の喜びもひとしおなのだけれど。

同様にお金を貯めるのも一苦労なので、地道に修行を繰り返しつつ、進めていく感じの内容と言えるかも。
惜しむべき点は、ハードの特性上、移動時に画面がブレるのでイライラする事。音質がイマイチに感じる事。不思議な呪文が「とくれせんたぼーび」では無くなってしまった事。

総合的に見れば、まあまあの出来かと。どこでも遊べるのは嬉しい。

あのファイナルファンタジー第一作がＷＳ版となって復活。ＦＣ版よりも遥かにグラフィックが綺麗になりＦＦ４~６にあったキャラクターの様々なリアクションも加わり、よりおもしろく物語を楽しめるようになりました。そこで一つＷＳ版のみあるミニゲームの発生条件を教えます！まず船を手に入れて船に乗ってる状態でＡボタンを押しながらＢボタンを５０回以上押すと・・・・！

ほぼＦＣ版ベースですので、ＷＳを持ってて、尚且つＦＣ版の感覚でプレイしたい人ならお勧め出来ますが、単にＦＦ１をプレイしたいというのであれば、アドバンス版かＰＳ版、それかＰＳＰ版でプレイされる方をお勧めいたします。何故なら、そっちの方が追加要素が組み込まれているからですので、断然お得です。
