まさに冒険心というものをくすぐられる作りになっている。
謎解きも一筋縄ではいかないが、それを解いてこそ真の冒険者だ。
様々な力を持った剣がフィールド上の何処かに眠っている。
伝説の剣を探して、お宝を探す旅に出よう！
今となっては、冒険ゲームも簡単になり、ストーリーのみを楽しむ物も多くなった。
しかしこのゲームは、自分自身の判断力、ひらめきが重要な要素になってくる。
冒険をするワクワク感、これこそゲームというものではないだろうか。

メガドライブで今から「やろう」と思えるゲームは非常に少ないですが
このゲームは今やっても楽しいです。
懐かしいドット絵、滑らかな動き、ちょっとひねりを加えた謎解きと、
おもしろい要素が満載です。
今やっても楽しいっていうのが一番オススメな所。
操作性の難しさ、高低差を把握する難しさはありイライラする事もあるみたいですが、慣れればそれもまた「昔ならではの楽しさ」な気がします。
是非やってみてください。

ゼルダっぽいコンセプトながら、擬似３Ｄの画面構成と独特の操作感覚が「ランドストーカー」の一番の売りだと思います。メガドラ付属のコントローラーでは少々キツイので、HORIなどの十字キータイプが斜め入力がしやすくオススメです。
基本操作が斜め入力！かなり独特ですが、すぐ慣れます。むしろ斜め入力の操作感覚が楽しくなります。タイミングを合わせてジャンプ！あ、落ちた！！くっそーもう一度・・・取りづらい場所に置かれたアイテムを、やっと取れた時の喜びは格別です。見えているのに行けない場所、目の前にあるのに取れないアイテム、それらを知恵と操作テクニックで乗り越えていく、アクションゲームの肝の部分が良く出来ているので、それが何年経っても名作と言われる理由だと思います。
ちなみに開発は内藤寛（ＤＱ３のプログラマ）率いる職人集団クライマックス。スーパーファミコンで「レディストーカー」という女主人公の続編も作ってます（発売はタイトー）
現行機種でリメイクされたら絶対買います。
