私はピアノの音色が大好きなのでピアノの生音のみのCDが欲しくて、タイトルと曲目リストを見てすぐに買ってしまったのですが、勘違いをしていました。

名曲をピアノで演奏したものを収録してあるCDではなく、アーティストのバックのピアノの音色が素敵な曲…という趣旨で集めた曲を載せたアルバムです。

ですからもちろん、アーティストの歌声がメインの普通のCDです。

私のような勘違いをして買う人が増えないよう、書き込みさせていただきました。

ただの参考として受け取ってください。

はっきり言って、ものすごくいい。企画盤はうんざりするほど出ているけど、これは出色。「サタディ・イン・ザ・パーク」や「うつろな愛」など、「ピアノ入ってたっけ」と思うような曲もあるけど、曲がいいので許す。「ザ・ウェイ・イット・イズ」も「雨にぬれた朝」も「SHE」も「ピアノ・マン」も、ガゼボまで入っている。いちばん驚いたのはドゥーブルの「キャプテン・オブ・ハー・ハート」が入っていたこと。これだけでも買いだと思ってしまった。

優しいピアノ、静かなピアノ、激しいピアノ、もの悲しいピアノ、とにかく名曲のオンパレード。「あれが入っていない」とか「この曲は企画盤の常連だ」とか不満を言ってはいけない。贅沢を言ってはいけない。これで十分に贅沢だ。聴いたことのない曲が多い、という人も買って失敗はありません。聴いたら「あっ、知ってる」という曲ばかり、のはず。

イントロはピアノで始まりますが、
曲全体としてはピアノの印象が薄いように思いました。
タイトルに惚れて買ったので、ガッカリ。
もっとピアノの音色を楽しみたかったので星は２つ。
